Its time to figure out who will come out of this section. Anything can happen in this one as some of these teams have lost or killed each other or lost to some more mediocre teams. It will be the team that shows up come sections that will come out of this one.

I'm taking BSM, but it feels like whoever's netminder is hottest will take it home.

Team defense comes up huge in sections and state; I feel that EP has the edge here. They also have the offense and leadership in their arsenal as well. They also haven't fell to a 6AA team yet this year (4-0-2).

The Prairie is my pick.

I have a feeling that EP might destroy them again but who knows. Also tonka, if BSM played them would be a very interesting game due to the fact that BSM beat them earlier

What are your rankings?

EP
Tonka
BSM
Wayzata
.......

Only calling it as I see it!

Section 6AA is a tricky one to predict; you can always say the same for 7AA as well. Matter of fact, looking at how many upsets there have been already this year, almost every section is like this.

Where will Minneapolis get seeded? With 18 wins, it looks as though 7 is probably the highest they can hope for. They have one section game this season, a 2-1 loss to Cooper, who also beat Armstrong 2-0.

Totally agree with Wayzata at 2 and BSM at 3. I've never thought BSM was top tier at any point this year and I still don't. Minneapolis should have been ahead of the two Robbinsdale teams.

Noway minneapolis should have been ahead of Armstrong. I'm note sure minneapolis would have even gotten 5 wins in the NWSC. I think the rankings are spot on.

Does anyone know how they set the games for Saturday for both 6AA and 2AA? Will we not know until after Thursday or will they set the times earlier? Is it based on the games that can draw the biggest at Braemar? I know two years ago Jefferson played burnsville in the 12 pm game at Braemar where last year 6AA got the first game at braemar. Does it switch each year between the sections?

BSM not top tier this year? Yeah, right. I'm going with BSM to win the section because they are my club and I'm a "homer". Wayzata chokes. Tonka hasn't been playing well the last few weeks and EP is due to lose one and has the target on their back. Let's play hockey and settle this once and for all.

I know, but it's a risk I'm willing to take.

They have a long and tough road ahead of them.

They need a hot goalie, their scorers scoring, and a TON of luck

Hot goalie, scorers scoring and a TON of luck? That pretty much raps it up for any team that wins a title.
A long tough road ahead of them which is the SAME road that EP, Wayzata and Tonka must travel. Nice analysis boys.
You guys are worried. We like that. :D
