Last year Holy Angels held a one goal lead in the third period but eventually lost it 5-4. Holy Angels is a much different team this year, but so is Shattuck. What can we expect from this game?

I think the previous posts could happen, but SSM has to play MSHSL rules and cannot be as physical and cheap as they would be in their league. I guess cheap is the wrong word. Still, I see AHA playing with them. AHA has done that in all their big games except HM.
I will go with the upset here AHA 4 - 3......Fun night at the palace.

Good to see you're sticking to your guns, Zamman.

Yes, in some games it appears AHA's goaltending is their weakness..

SSM is extremely fast and they play the puck very good. After the 1st period it was 2 - 0 and the shots were like 16 - 7 SSM. In the second I thin AHA needed to get the next goal to try and keep pace, but they did not. AHA did play real well in the 2nd they caught up on shots at 23. Then SSM rattled off 8 - 1 shots and two more goals. At the end, I did not see sad faces, maybe tired ones, but SSM is real good. Lots of scouts and reps from colleges.

With similar scores between Shattuck and AHA and Hill and AHA and having seen them both play the same opponent how would you stack the state's number one vs. Shattuck at this point in time?

SSM was machine like, you better not coast to the puck against them. Every player on SSM plays hard ALL the time, or else? Really well coached and fun to watch. I would not draw to many conclusions about AHA based on this game SSM is capable of this against any HS team on any given night. In regards to AHA goaltending I didn't see any big holes, matter of fact he appeared to be one of the few AHA players that wasn't intimidated By SSM and made several nice saves, remember its not the amount of shots but the quality that counts and he saw plenty of high quality, uncontested shots. I'm pretty sure if you flipped goalies in this game the score would of been similar.

SSM has the speed, but I think HM has the ability to run away with the puck.
When I say this I mean keep control of the puck. This one would be close and come down to goaltending. Tough call, I would guess whomever was the home team wins.

It would be nice to see more teams in the top ten Play SSM...I was hoping it was going to be close They did stay with them for about half the game...
I think Hill would make it a game but SSM would wear them down....
