completely unfair, my niece will be completely shut out from this. She will never re-coop this time loss before she hits the national U10 training program. I demand satisfaction!!!

However, sadly his joke has probably been attempted.

Why wait until mini-mites? I have developed an in-utero hockey training program for pregnant women. It all starts with my special audio CD that plays great scoring plays, big hits, and chalk talk for your unborn child. Just buy my special belly headphones and play this on a loop while your expecting mother sleeps.

I am also working on a method of freezing amniotic fluid so your fetus can get a head start on their skating. It will have to be barefoot at first, but they need to condition those feet to ice at some point.

Don't let your fetus fall behind. In no time your unborn will be trying out for that AAA mini-mite team, and can use the leg up!

Not to be sexist, or sexual, but, one thing I've seen is the Edina dads picked their wives wrong. I've never seen more tiny little hockey players, on good teams, in my whole life. I mean really small. Need to mix some big strong farmer stock into that gene pool. Love the 105 pound wife but she didn't help produce much of a hockey player. Genetics. Got dads good hands but could have used some different breeding stock.

Ya, that must be why the program has really struggled over years.

"That was one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. Everyone, in this room, is now dumber, for having listened to it. I award you NO points."

I'm not from Edina, and also do not like them.... but my dislike is out of respect for what they accomplish year after year after year..... You can take pot shots at the parents all you want, but leave the kids out of it.

Take your grudge, that you are living through your child, because he, or she lost a game to Edina, and head back to the basement.

Why are you a baby then? You obviously haven't seen many of their top teams play recently have you? I have. Several of their best players, and I do mean several, are very small. Just saying. Sorry for my attempt at adding humor.

Maybe you're little and overly sensitive on the subject.

I found some humor in it too, just maybe not call out any particular location. My 5’2”, 115 lb Mite didn’t get his size from me. One must think of these things early on or just desire tall woman.

Have we really turned a humorous and harmless topic into petty name-calling? Sigh.
