If I thought RLF had a chance, then yes.
But I don't think they do.

But I know you and Air Force 1 and others will be following it.

What's up with that? Red Lake Falls does not have a JV?

Double header at the Civic Center tonight!

5:00 PM - EGF Girls hosting Moorhead
7:00 PM - EGF Boys hosting Red Lake Falls

Red Lake Falls has JV, but they just play the bigger schools in the section on seperate days for JV and Varsity because some of the kids play both JV and Varsity so they choose to play the bigger schools JVs on different days than the Varsity to be more competitive in both games.

Is that to skirt the 4 periods in a night rule? Play on different nights so the player that plays on both the Varsity and JV can play all three periods of both games? EGF, as well as a lot of Section 8A teams, have kids that play on both Varsity and JV and they take the pros and the cons of only playing 4 periods per night, the same night.

No just to try and be more competetive against the bigger schools, they play JV and Varsity on the same day against teams like LOW, Bagley, Kittson, etc. What were your thoughts on the EGF vs. RLF game tonight?

I see the point but still smells like it is so all players are available for both games. When will the JV showdown be then? It was on the HS schedule for both games last night and the JV game is not on the EGF ice schedule within the next 10 days.

I ended up not going last night. After 9 Pee Wee games in 10 days it was nice to sit in comfy recliner in my warm living room and have a cold one while I watch some TV. Back to the rink tomorrow though, Moorhead is coming to town.

Yeah I see what your saying, I guess the JVs don't play this year or it is just not listed on the schedule, in the past they had always just played on different days.

I went last night and RLF scored about 2mins in, EGF answered with about 3mins later on a shot from the circle on the boards that hit off RLF goalies shoulder, but he was so far back in net it just deflected right into the top corner of the net. It was 1-1 after 1 and shots were 9-9. EGF dominated a 2-3 minute stretch in the 2nd and scored 3 times after the 2nd it was 4-1 EGF with shots about 22-13 EGF. EGF scored early in the 3rd then RLF answered before EGF added a PP goal with about 1 min left against RLFs freshmen. I dont't know if either team played real well last night, but the difference last night was probably EGFs depth.
