This isn't surprising unless Sellnow was in goal for Century. Century lost a lot and is really down from last years team. Will be a long season for them.

Schletty and Jordan split time.
These are the goals to the best of my knowledge:
Wahlin (4)
David (2)
M. Morissette (1)
Glasgow (1)
Birkinbine (2)
Jansen (1)
Or something like that! I'm 100% about the first four on the list.
The last two could be interchangeable!

Da Bears with a steamrolling over Century.
Rochester, time to start thinking about how to create talent in the youth program to sustain 3 high school teams....

Four...
Mayo, Lourdes, JM, and Century
You are right though, Rochester needs to develop more players to feed that many high schools...

A good place to start is more bantam teams. One bantam team feeding all four schools obviously isn't enough or working.
Great win!

Wahlin also added 3 assists with his 4 goals and I believe Carney scored as well.

I have never understood why White Bear wastes a non-conference game on someone like Rochester. Year after year the Bears bet up on Century thier first game of the year. Why not play a higher caliber team like Edina, Bloomington Jefferson or even Minnetonka and see what you might have to compete with for the year or.... is padding points for the big guns that important. Maybe if the Bears played someone decent in a non conference game they could figure out how to play against Hill instead of look star struck and flat footed when they meet!

The high school coaches need to stop holding out their hands and start creating spring Summer programs like the good cities teams. start at squirt and pee wee. requires work by high school coaches they don't even know who the incoming sophomores are until tryouts. They need to create their programs . Don't whine, just start working coaches.
