Now that Chaska-Chanhassen are split into two teams what will the outlook for them be this year? I know together they were an average to above average team playing in a very tough conference. What will the upcoming year bring for these to teams? Anybody have any insiding?

Tough conference?
They play in the Missota.the only good team is AHA.
but i can see chan having a pretty decent team, maybe 2nd in conference?
They have some nice players. (Kelly, Holasek) Those guys will be the anchor for the team. but not until next year do i think they will have a competitive team.

I think he meant last year, Not sure which school they'll be at but Storo and Traina will likely be two of the top players. Traina coming back from Breck.

why is Traina leaving Breck? He'll be a huge lift for chanhassen though.

Have to believe the scenario for the two schools is not good in the short run.
One of the reasons the former Chaska coach quit prior to this season is because the number of players did not add up to have two decent teams.
Additionally, Chaska-Chan has been porous in terms of players moving on to private schools over the last 5 to 7 years.
On a positive note, players that may not have played varsity for Chaska can gain an opportunity to play for either Chaska-Chan.

The Head Coach resigned. He is still coaching in the Elite League with Reed Larson.

Thats not a loss. They never had a winning record the whole time he was a coach anyway.

Olinger has joined Lee Smith's staff at EP and will be coaching there this season.

Could have been a number of things, but it's no secret that the Breck coach and he didn't see eye to eye (from what I've heard, that's not a surprise as most of the players didn't see eye to eye with him). Probably more than just that though otherwise all the players would have bolted. He's a good player who with the right coach mentoring him has the potential to be a great player. I assume he somehow got around the transfer rule and he's varsity eligable, can anyone confirm?

I think he (storo) has some other issues.
