They have try-outs Oct. 22,&23. They have an 04 team? How old can those kids be? [Grade] Are other programs starting kids that young?

I believe 04s would be either young first graders or older kindergartners.

What tournaments are offering an '04 level next year? I imagine most won't even offer an '03.

I know that this year MM offered a program called Fast Forward 03 for a group of 24 2003 level kids. So I wouldn't be surprised to see it offered for the 2004's next summer.

lets see 2010 - 2004 = 6. So I'm guessing 6 or 7 years old.

Not sure what the story is. They never had young kids like this before.
I looked on the website and there it was 03,04's. I made the mistake of skating my 02 as a practice player last year- too young!! A least mine was. He's the youngest of five and has been around the rink his whole life, but was not ready.

I have seen a few programs that offer an 03/04 team as a scaled down version of their standard AAA team. One for example offered 20 hours of ice and one tournament. Perhaps Reebok is doing something similar.

RBK NATS was the worst money I spent for my kids development. This whole AAA thing is a waste of money. Now their going after 6-7 yr olds are the kidding.

The trend does seem to be to try to identify and retain these kids at younger and younger ages.
