The story of potential top 2011 draftee Seth Ambroz revolves around the North Star State.

The 17-year-old Ambroz was supposed to attend the University of Minnesota this season; instead, he's heading back to the USHL's Omaha Lancers for what will be his third season.

Minnesota head coach Don Lucia couldn't promise Ambroz enough ice time this year with the Golden Gophers. Lucia also told Seth's mother, Sue, that another year of juniors would probably be best for Seth in his draft year and at Omaha, he could see more action.

Despite the departure from the Gophers, Ambroz, who is from New Prague, Minn., will likely still get his chance to shine in the biggest city of his home state. The 2011 NHL draft will be held at the Xcel Energy Center, home of the Minnesota Wild, after all.

It's a possibility that he'll end up playing for the Gophers. The kid's massive and he'd probably be another Okposo-like player with even more scoring ability. He definitely would've led the state in scoring this past year if he stayed with New Prague.

Must graduate from high school first. High draft pick and will play majors.
