Top teams for a 2nd year tournament. I think it looks more like an invite level than the Easton Cup.

How does the Gold Medal Festival, running the same weekend in the cities, compare?

Their summer rosters are usually a bit different than their winter rosters.

The 97's look like they will have a good competitive tournament this year.
From the Machine to the Bauer Supreme. Legacy and Blades should be the top two. After that Machine and the two Northern Teams. Then it's anybody's
guess. The Bauer Supreme has to get "The Most Improved Team" title.
We'll see if their for real in the Easton cup open. They should run the table.

In the 97s I would keep your eye on the Nats. Good team, coach.

Nats are a great team ..Not the coach ..Not a dad.. Just an old guy interested in the peewee age group .. I think it's where it all starts to become a little clearer...

I just can't believe how many teams there are these days....it wasn't too long ago when the only teams were basically the Predators, Christian Brothers, Lightning, Icemen, LSS and Blades.

Now we have the Bauer Supremes and Vapor, CCM Capitals, Monopoly and Flyers, RBK and Reebok Nationals, Raging Bulls, STE, United AAA, North Fire, Machine, Torspo, Mavericks, Legacy, Breakaway, Edge, Flames, Easton Synergy and Stealth, Fighting Loons, Gulls, Jr Beavers, NW Prospects, No Wis Blizzard, Miracle, Machine, Min/Wis Elites, ITR 26ers, etc. etc. etc.

Wow....

I will go out on a limb and say its a 2 team tourney! Machine and Blades. Now, they both need someone to play in the semi finals so I will give the nod to the defending Champs the Raiders and pick Legacy as the wild card team.

In a few years, it will be really interesting to see if all this summer hockey increases the quality of play at the High School level and creates more opportunities for Minnesota kids post-high school. . . . in the meantime . . . it is pretty cool (my opinion) to see so many kids get the chance to play summer hockey!

This years teams are a little different than last year. The Raiders this year
are a watered down Torspo team. The Machine is not as strong at the 97 level than some would think. The Legacy has been looking pretty good this fall. The blades are strong. I still think the wild cards are from up north...
