Chowder Cup 2010

I hate to start a thread just to ask one question...but couldn't think of any other appropriate place to put it.
Any Minnesota teams playing in this summer's Chowder Cup tournament? Always seems to be some "stacked" teams involved...with top notch players with current D-I experience. Minnesota teams...some of which were 100% pre-college players have more than held their own in the past. Usually you will read / hear many complaints of non competitive / lopsided competition calling for the creation of "divisions" to better equalize the competition and eliminate those lopsided outcomes. Some truth to all that...and it may not be a terrible suggestion...but I have no idea if it will happen...ever.

Here is the link to the teams participating this year. It appears that there is only one team - Ice Cats from Minnesota.

Other teams may invite potential recruits. Team Celine, for example, is often made up of potential Harvard recruits.

The Ice Cats won their pool going 3-0. They lost their first playoff game 3-2 in OT to Base Hockey. Base Hockey was a mixture of Syracuse, Princeton, Northeastern, and Toronto Aeros player's. Base ended up in the finals.
A nice showing for Minnesota as the Ice Cats outshot Base.

Does anybody know why the Jr. Whitecap teams didn't attend this year? Last year some parents advertised this as a huge deal for Minnesota girls to 'be seen' by all the Eastern D1 coaches. And it is supposedly an honor when the organizers invite selected Minnesota teams (based on the reputation of who is putting the teams together). Did Winny get bored with the tournament or was there not enough interest among the elite players and players' parents? A whole bunch of Minnesota recruits ended up at Syracuse, Providence, Niagara, Connecticut, Vermont, RPI, Quinnipiac, Harvard, and even Mercyhurst this year. Did playing in that tournament have something to do with it? If so, why not continue participating in the tournament for next year's class? Or has the impact of this one tournament on recruiting been overblown?
Edit: You know what, I think I'm confusing this with the NAHA Labor Day tournament......never mind.

Is this the same Ice Cats that played in the International Cup?
