On the north side of town Elk river, Centennial, Andover, and St Michael should all be top ten caliber teams.

I sure hope these team haven't already been picked or you will have some angry grandpa's posting about the injustice.

Hopefully there are no girls on those teams or you will have some angry neanderthal dads complaining that their sons can't play on girls teams.

Should be interesting when the western suburbs start holding pre-tryout clinics, preparing for out of state tournaments, and even rostering girls.

Snacks are a big part of that equation. There's a rumor floating around that Minnetonka is trying to get a kid from Hopkins to open enroll because his dad is a Pepsi driver - direct line to the Gatorade.

The former CINB would've had a much better team this year. Now I hear Cambridge is going to play A alone........ I feel bad for those kids

Rumor has it that talks are back on for merging CI and NB.

A few, in Cambridge, must have sat down and figured out just how ugly things will be in the future without a merge.

Good luck changing NB minds now.

Maybe, but without an arena of their own it is in NB best interests as well.

The only negative is for the HS program....... It is currently very cheap to play for NB without the overhead of an arena. The mites will be in Isanti (we should of stayed away) and the traveling teams will be in East Bethel. Pine City even offered NB most of their prime ice hours, but NB declined

. Kids in other local programs are getting priced out in this economy.
We are in the best of shape and growing fast....!

I guess I don't understand your point. CI doesn't have the overhead of an arena either. They are a tenant only.
The identity of your program hurts by not having a home. You have to admit that sending player to PC, Chisago, East Bethel and Isanti is not a good situation, whether you get prime time or not.

I guess we're also only a tenant then ...... , but if we decide not to rent your (so called) ice you might not have a "home". Your association alone would not keep your "home arena" afloat, so what if we would have decided on Pine City? What will C-I have? 5 traveling teams for the rink?
You might be able to find ice cheaper somewhere else and home is right on the scoreboard...... If you're just a tenant like you say with no financial worries.

There's no chance either Roseville or Forest Lake will be anything more than middle of the pack in D2.
