What's expected from this game and can Mahtomedi repeat what they did last year??

God, I hope so! Wohlers needs to play huge in this one. I say Zephyrs 5-3 with an empty-netter.

I'll take STA 4-3 over Mahtomedi.

Usually plenty of goals put on the score board when these two teams play.

In the end, Zephyrs will return to the state tournament.

STA will request reassignment to another section in 2010.

St. Thomas by 2. They definitely won't forget what happened to them last year against Mahtomedi in the finals.

Mahtomedi will outlast the STA for another trip to the X 5-4. And we have Girls!!!!

Apparently you haven't been to too many St Thomas games. In the middle of any period go over to either the concessions or the entrance and compare the female population on both sides. You'll be amazed at what you find.

I remember being at a section game 5 years ago or so against Red Wing at Aldrich where they did a similar chant; there was a handful of girls on their side and about as many girls as guys on the St Thomas side.

Hah ya I remember that game! Also the section final I want to say a few years ago, Red Wing brought out the big guns late when they were getting steamrolled, something along the lines of "we get p****" was being chanted in the coliseum. They got a chuckle out of that until the STA fans responded with "its your sisters."

I would like to se Mahtomedi beat STA two years in a row, therfore i say Mahtomedi 4-2 with an empty net.

His GA against Mahtomedi are MUCH worse than Wynne's this year. Hopefully Zach plays this game and the offense shows up.
