I don't see how Forbort could be picked above Fowler...Lucia4President wrote:Forbort above Cam Fowler...EHSHack wrote:Apparently some people think so:

I don't think anyone should have to explain how Cam Fowler is better than Derek Forbort.mulefarm wrote:Why couldn't Forbort be picked in front of Fowler? Please give us your in dept scouting report.
If you had watched the 18U World Championships last year or the 20U World Championships this year I wouldn't have to explain my answer... It doesn't need to be "In Depth".mulefarm wrote:Why couldn't Forbort be picked in front of Fowler? Please give us your in dept scouting report.
It definitely sounds like you know your stuff. Well I'm not saying Forbort isn't in the mix either. Believe me I'm not doggin him, he is a great defenseman and has a great future ahead of him. I just feel that from what I've seen from Fowler is that he deserves to be picked ahead of Forbort... That's all.mulefarm wrote:I did watch the U20 tournament. He started strong but really tailed off as the tournament went along. Played great against Canada in first game.
Did not make all-tournament team, was not selected as one of best players by coaches, had 2 assists for tournament and was on PP, was not among top 20 defenseman in scoring, not in top four in scoring for US defenseman. Not saying he isn't a high pick, but Forbort is in the mix.
