Owatonna vs. Mayo 2/9

What's your predictions and thoughts for this game? The last time these to teams played, it was a 5-4 win for Mayo back in December in Owatonna. This game could go a long way in figuring out where both of these teams will be seeded come section time. I say Mayo 5-3. Should be a good game.

Define Good. If you mean it will be a close game ok I'll go with that.

I would go with Mayo in this game, but with Owatonna coming off that upset over Winona, I think the Huskies will come out with a lot of momentum an win this one 4-3.

Big Game for sections seedings. Winner will be seventh seed ,loser eighth.
I will go with Mayo 4-3.

This game will be played Monday in Graham 4 at 730 with the JV game at 5:30. Game decides who plays Century in the first round.

It is a must win for Mayo as our only win over 1AA team is vs Owatonna.
Owatonna has beaten JM, winonna, and tied Farmington. If mayo beats owatonna will they really get a 7th seed?

Interesting score, I'm still not sold on a Century/Mayo match up just yet though because if Owatonna beats JM tommorrow then you have a mess. All 3 of those teams will have beaten another twice while losing to the third teams twice. In a nutshell they're all 2-2 against each other.
Then to mess things up even more...
Owatonna beat Winona, Mayo lost to Winona, JM tied Winona and plays them again Thursday.
Owatonna tied Farmington, JM and Mayo both lost to Farmington
Because of Owatonna's record against Winona and Farmington I think that if Owatonna beats JM then Owatonna will be the #6 seed, JM #7, and Mayo #8.
That said Mayo is playing better and had they been able to convert on a power play and not spent a hug aprt of the first period down a man or 2 they might very well have beaten Century. Winona and century aren't playing better than they were a month ago, Mayo and JM are and either one could knock off Century given a chance and a good night from their goalie.

Actually if Owatonna beats JM tomorrow that could throw a little twist into the seedings.
