Shaughnessy and Fons took shootouts against the pros. Shaughnessy shutting down Koivu's backhand was my highlight of the day. Bjugstad, Housley, Faust, and Holl also competed. Very great opportunity looked like alot of fun.

Bjugstad put on a show. In the puck control competition he was wheelin it as fast as NHL skaters.

Yeah, because there is clearly no politics or favoritism involved in the roster picks in the Elite League.

Sorry to the kids that should have been there. The ugly side to MN hockey is politics...

I saw the videos on the site and thought that the selection of the other athletes was fair. On a more positive note, IMHO the Hopkins jersey Fons was wearing is my favorite HS jersey ever. Great tribute to the Nordiques.

Not sure I get your point. Pretty much what I would have expected. Just a bunch of softball questions for HS kids to answer. Did I miss something

I don't get what you guys aren't getting. Wilson contended with every high school player in the competition. He scored on the shootout, did very well in the rapid fire, and is one of the leading scorers in the SEC. Another ugly side to MN hockey is punishing a good hockey player because his dad tore you guys apart when he played.
