Is it a rivalry? I think East Ridge and Woodbury would be bigger rivals for obvious reasons.

Rumor going around is that some of the East Ridge Boys are suspended for drinking violations. Park SHOULD win this one.

That is exactly how rumors get started. By uninformed people. East Ridge had Five players sit out (2) games Tuesday and Thursday for violating team rules. It had nothing to do with drinking. They will be back at full strength against park.

Thanks for setting the record straight

I just hope the intensity outside the arena is less then what is inside.

I just remembered that they share an arena!

Maybe it will be more interesting than I thought. Does ER have any plans for a new stadium?

In about five years when Bielenberg adds a third sheet of ice.

Bielenberg is right next door to the school yet, they share with CG. Yes, it is a heated topic in CG. So I believe the Rivalry could be stronger with Park and East Ridge. As for Rumors, I said Rumor. Thanks for clarifying.

They don't really share an arena, per se... they built a new rink right next to the old Park barn. The new rink is East Ridge's home rink, so while they share a facility, they do not play on the same ice.

Build a $90 million dollar school... shoulda just forked over an extra million to build a sweet arena too.

The rivalry with Park would be a little stronger if the Raptors had more than 1 guy skating that came from Park. I think the rivalry will be a little more heated for the fans than it will be for the players.

That arena was build because Cottage Grove was traveling all over the place for ice time. They spent a great deal of time over in River Falls for ice. That new arena was designated for the Park HS Girls. They had the Logo and everything down on the ice last year. They didn't have heat because it wasn't in the budget. It was nice last year. The players from Both the girls and the boys program were able to have ice right after school. Now they have to share with another school and we're back to early morning and late night practices. Then all of a sudden money fell out of the sky to put heat in!!! I believe that's coming from the citizens of Cottage Grove tax Dollars. And even though only one kid is from CG. The Raptors have come to our Homecoming Parade and ran up and down the parade and threw stuff at the kids. Not to mention what the CG kids did back. Both things are very unacceptable! So the Rival already started:(

True. Since they have about $5 million left from the referendum. East Ridge also doesn't have a pool.

What would a hockey season be without a suspension or two? :P

That last goal for Park is wrong. They actually scored the game winner with 2 seconds left in the game A true heartbreaker for the Raptors tonight.

Park doesn't have a pool either!

The Raptors came out to win last night! They played an awesome game. Kudos to those players and their coaches. They will soon be a team to win big! Kudos Raptors. All your hard work and dedication is showing!
