What is happening to North St.pauls top hockey players?

Which "top players" are you refering to?

They stopped being top hockey players anywhere else.

Easily possibly a loading error, has happened to me many times.

That being said, what are you talking about specifically?

They stop getting better when they get to the high school, or they head to Hill Murray.

If you look at the Bantam team they had 3 years ago they had a pretty good team. They lost 3 guys from that team to Hill. The other top players from that team have not developed under the high school coach. Even the kid they got from Johnson has leveled out. Another diebel victim.

So I think the top players head to NSP high school only to become average under a bad coach.

The remaining players from the Bantam team a few years ago have gotten better as individual players. In the off season many of them are training and playing at a much higher level of competition compared to the system that the NSP coaches are running. These players may choose to stay home and not go to Hill, for many reasons other than just hockey. Unfortunately when they do play under the NSP coaches they have no choice but to follow their system however simple and average it may be. The good players have no choice but to look average and play average under an average system. It is too bad that these coaches are unable to develop a system that utilizes the talents and abilities of the good players they do have. Don't you think that coaches want to have a winning program if possible rather than settle for an average program. It is unfortunate for all the players who have worked so hard during the season and in the off season all these years to improve their hockey abilities (and the money invested by families) to get to the high school level and now have to just settle to be on an average team. Without a polar jersey on, that player that came from Johnson is one of the top players in the state in his age group... When he does not have a polar jersey on.

If you're referring to Rubbelke, he came from Harding, but played for the co-op Johnson team.
