Totino is right on the outside looking in. A home win a Tuesday would help them a lot, especially for section standings. Can they stretch their winning stretch to 5 games?

Mahtomedi is playing awfully strong right now... Losing 4-2 to Breck in the Schwan's final, after losing like 7-1 to Breck early in the year, and then a nice win in Virginia the next day shows they're hitting a nice stride.

I am not sure Totino has enough offense to create much pressure.

Mahtomedi 5-2

Mahtomedi is strong at the moment, and I expect that to stay the same:

Zephyrs - 4
Pizza Rolls - 2

Look for Mahtomedi to roll through this one. Totino will be decent, but I expect Mahtomedi to overpower them

Mahtomedi-6

Totino-1

game over: zephyrs - 5 Eagles - 1

Eagles shot themselves in the "foot" with so many penalties.

Looks like Charlie Adams continues to roll with 2 goals (14), Zurn one (12) and Ben Marshall his 5th with 2 A..

Game could have easily been very close, Wohlers came up huge for Mahtomedi and couldnt be cracked by TG's 2 on 0's and break aways..which they had many. Also, whenever i go to Mahtomedi's games or look at their box scores all i hear and see is Marshall, Zurn, and Adams..are they the only kids that can score? If so, they are in trouble against the cadets

also would like to add, Tontino Grace is cheap and dirty, i feel very bad dor any coach who has to put his boys out there with them

For the latest stats, thru 10 games, those 3 guys have accounted for 27 goals and 62 points compared to 20 and 43 pts for the rest of the team, with a player named Rose having 7 goals. So they have some.

I am sure Mahtomedi is not unlike most teams where there is one solid line that does the bulk of the scoring.

TG looks like the leading scorer thru 7 games ae 3 players with 10 pts in Roos, Colpitts and Fust..

Way to go Zephs!

Great win last night...they are really hitting their stride right now. Cruise through these next 4 games and then hopefully put up a good fight and get a W against STA in two weeks.

Also nice to see Warroad stumble last night.

Yes my mistake, I forgot to add Rose to the scoring list on my last post. He has been contributing a lot as of late. With the zurn rose adams line, marshall on the blue line and wohlers between the pipes this team is be feared. But they lack depth if any at all, their second and third lines need to start putting pucks in the net. But STA be warned as we COULD be smelling another section 4A upset. (Slim but possible)
