CDH 2 - LS 7

Justin Kloos had 5 goals.

Is this an Upset?

I hope they just have the teams wrong on pointstreak.

I would say it's correct but it is odd that the first 5 goals all from #15 on LS and 3 straight in 58 seconds! and last 2 LS goals were at the exact same time?

Yeah I am questioning Pointstreak, seen as 15 is CDH scoring machine and 17 is his linemate. Very odd, I would have thought the score would be the other way.

Well no need to question, confirmed 7-2 Lakeville South.

As far as rankings go it's an upset... but not surprising to see just about any team from the Lake pull off a victory on a top team.

Sounds like the Raiders didn't show up. Lots of penalties and Kloos and Osterberg are really good on the pp.

I was at this game and South did win 7-2. Sophmore Justin Kloos recorded 5 goals. As far as the last two goals being at the exact same time, i dont know, but South did win.

Justine older brother, John Kloos who is a senior, also scored. Hats off to the Kloos bros.

What roller coaster year are you talking about?? This was their first loss and they still haven't even gotten Alt back yet. They lose one and they are on a roller coaster? I must agree they got beat in all aspects of the game today but Lakeville South will beat some good teams this year and nearly did in eagan as well (lost 2-1) South has one of the youngest best lines in the state with Kloos and Osterberg. They won the VFW state as bantams last year and will compete for a trip to state in their section this year. Yeah they've gotten beat bad a few times but a young team will take their knocks at times. Keep an eye on them later in the year when they get some experience.

I agree. This line of Kloos/Osterberg/Harvey really knows how to move the puck well. I think that South will be a team to watch come section time.

Goldfishdude you got me. I guess I have some egg on my face. First, I did think we got our butts handed to us. I also thought Stillwater would beat the mustangs. 0 for 2 not my best. We did beat the horses today in a close game, although, they seemed like a better team two weeks ago. Today got pretty chippy both ways. Congrats Lakeville

I am sorry, Hankya... I didn't mean it in a way to rub it in your face... I am not that kind of a person... I was looking for an objective viewpoint from someone that seemed to follow the team...as it appeared this was a huge upset....

Things like this happen... look at WBL vs AHA!!!

Not a problem Goldy. I have been watching Cretin and eastern teams all season. I have watched both teams on a few occasions. It was an upset by the numbers, but Lakeville was the better team.

I Thought the Breck-Stillwater game that followed was a good one as well.

Our game today with the Pony's got us back on track. It appeared that the Pony's had some JV players today, but they did ok. I am glad they did not have their usual crew, or we my have been in trouble again.
