Faribault 8
Century 5

shots were 40-25 in favor of Faribault, 7 of Faribaults goals were on the power play. 0-3 Century is skating grinders as I type.

Dead serious, Frutiger was seriously ticked off at the effort and play of Century. Faribault took the high road tonight, my hats off to them. Century had 16 penaties, Faribault 6.

It is sad to see the team that I played on last year lose 4 straight. That is the same amount of games we lost last year including the state tournament..... What are they doing so poorly ? I heard the mayo vs century game was a dog fight....

this is very true. I just know that last years team had amazing talent with kneopke, Grimstad, Stevens, B Wilcox and Frischmann and i heard big things from knutson and briscoe. How does the goaltending look ? Is Century still starting Ewing ? How's the D-zone ?

i cant believe how fairbo and austin took home the wins tonight. They used to be the easy teams to get the easy points in the big nine. Now with kids like Kirby and Lipinksi I think they just got the two rochester teams off gaurd. Congrats on the win for those teams but this years big nine champs will be somewhat of a toss up now.

If you ask me as of right now the top 3 teams all look like class A schools Austin, East, and Faribo. I don't know about JM yet though they have only played West and Winona as an inconference game but they had a pretty tough time with West from what i hear.
JM 3 AL 2
Faribo 5 Austin 3
Century 6 Owatonna 1

Edited by: <A HREF=

The top schools are definatley A schools with the exception of JM. They are the only AA school that could win the title this year from what i have seen so far. Faribo is good but i think depth issues are going to hurt them, but you cant count them out yet.
Zamboni Drivin Fool
