Looking back on the season thus far, you'd have to consider Hibbing as being the #1 team in A.......

Was it bad calls for both teams or what?
As for the Hibbing being #1...no they shouldn't. They're 5-0 as they should be. They've gotten W's against 2 average AA teams, 2 wins against teams that'll be lucky to finish the season with 5 wins a piece, and a team ranked below them in the polls. Hibbing is #6, but maybe could be #4 at this point in the year. If they end 2005 undefeated then I'll jump on the wagon with you ps.
Good luck next weekend up in Roseau County next weekend 'Jackets.

Was the game at Breck? I have seen one crew in particular, in section 5A games mostly, who should be reffing girls hockey. Anytime there is a big hit it is interferrence. The Redwing/Blake game was obscene, there were 18 penalties. I'd say half were legit.
It's too bad some crews think they nedd to "control" a game. Not much fun to watch.
Hopefully it will change, hockey is a physical game.

Keep in mind that officials have been instructed to crack down on obstruction type calls this year, just as the NHL and college game has done. A lot of stuff that used to be let go, is gonna be called now. I saw a few of them called in the Virginia/Grand Rapids game. Of course there will always be those few officials that will take it to extremes and call everything that remotely resembles contact away from the puck because they think they've been given a mandate to make a call.

I like to see those city boys loose to the out state hicks, haha. And why in the world is everyone crying so much about refs this year. Thats gotto be a tough job, trying to satisfy everyone. "let them play" is a stupid thing to say in my opinion, dont the rules matter anymore?
*WILD HOCKEY FAN FOREVER*
