Blueblood,
I don't agree.
It depends on which association you are from. Some of the bigger associations don't allow 8th graders to play Varsity and some of the biggest associations, such as Edina, try to discourage 9th graders from playing JV or Varsity.
All of Edina's varsity players had played 14U (some even played 14UB) before playing on the Varsity. This includes many standouts that have received D1 scholarships from one of the top Varsity teams in the State. Other notable 14U players (in my opinion the best in their class) from other schools are Rachel Ramsey, Jordyn Burns, Hannah and Marissa Brandt... So I suggest you think a little before being so flippant and disparaging about 14U.

EP has a couple, Edina one, Mtka one, haven't seen the Bloom kid mentioned below yet. Cottage Grove mentioned below sounds like a goalie? (didn't see anything there).

#33 for CG lined up at defense but was up in the play a lot. Scored both goals in our 2-2 tie.
Haven't seen the Edina, Mkta, or EP teams yet. League 8 has teams from D8, D1, D2 D4. The only League 6 teams we have seen are Bloomington, REV and Chaska/Chanhassen.
Forgot to list Andover 14A #9 and #3.
