I recently got a new stick that i plan on using for pond hockey, shooting range, etc. The problem is I had to get it with grip because it is the only thing they had.

The thing i need to know is if there is any way to get the grip off without scratching off the paint?

Yes, there is in fact. Trade it in and buy a couple wood sticks. Haven't seen one of those with grip on it.

Trust me i would have loved to do that since it is strictly a pond hockey/backup stick. But i wanted to get something that was similar in style, weight, and curve to the stick i use on the ice so i can take the things i work on at the pond will transfer over to the indoor ice.
