Well I would believe that would be Jimmy Kortum or his buddy from Hopkins. They used to post here all last year about how good they were. Jimmy is the best goalie in the state by far!

You might be right but I don't think he is a bantam or a goalie.

You guys must be joking around about Justin Quayle (sorry if not spelled correctly, no offense is intended). I think he moved up to Benilde.
In all seriousness, Jefferson has 2 good goalies - I've seen them both play, last year and now a few games this year. I think one moved up from BB1, but he's seriously good. Time will tell in D6 though...Edina, EP, and Minnetonka can make good goalies look bad.

Hunter Sheppard from grand rapids is very good! he might not be the best in the state but he is up there and he is a 95 where most of the good goalies in this years bantam A are 94s

Haha I have no relation to Justin Quale but I know for a fact he has not moved up to BSM and I think he is at least a top 10 bantam A goalie. I haven't got to see too many games yet this year but those I have seen I have to go with Dingman (Wayzata) Evers (Mpls/Park) and Quale (Hopkins). Sorry its a little D3 biased but once I get out more I'll have a wider scope of things.

I have not seen Evers but agree with Dingman and Quale being top BA goalies.

Evers used to backstop the 95 Fire, as well as Team Breakaway over the summer.

Chris Mallon from Burnsville is a top 5 kid or better. If he's at his best this winter he could stone D6 and carry BV to state. I've coached him in the off season for the past 3 years and he has a rare gift...

Skillbuilder,
I watched him last year in D6, this Spring in the Advanced 15's, and then again last week vs EP. I would have to agree, very good goalie - and has made a TON of progress. I still hear stories about when he was a skater - did you coach him then, or just after he switched?

And he's a pony which makes him just a little more special!

I've seen him play 4-5 times this year, I agree!

Burnsvile also has another strong goalie that right now may be playing better than Mallon. Not sure what his name is, but I think he was on the B1 team as the only goalie that went to state last year.

Was watching a Bantam A Game yesterday at EP between OMG and Roseau. I must say the kid from Roseau #30 simply stood on his head and had to have faced close to 70 plus shots before succumbing in the third OT. Great game to watch.

Hawk,
I coached him as a skater as well. He and Colton Anderson were my goalies in last summers Midwest Selects Tourney. They both did their jobs but we were short a few skaters. Only lost to the eventual champs by a goal with their good play though... Colton is very very good but Chris is special...

We played hopkins and fired 45 shots to their 10 and lost 1 to 0. He played amazing.

Doesn't Stillwater have a strong Sophomore goalie?
