21. STMA.

31 goals in 4 games is a pretty good scoring team. No matter how you shake the crystal ball. And there only loss came against the #1 team on the list.

Well then, you'll have to beat a team above you.

In no particular order, the next grouping of teams is probably:

Bemidji
Duluth Lakers
Moorhead
STMA
Highland Central
St. Cloud
Stillwater
Eastview
Hopkins (maybe)
Orono (maybe)
Farmington (maybe)

With the advent of some coaches thinking their Bill Belichek when it comes to posting information about their teams, you don't always see the scores. But after having seen most of LPH's top twenty play so far this year, I think their will be a lot of moving around in those rankings.

Two teams I am curious about, St. Francis and Prairie Center. Anybody know anything about these two?

Well done, PWD10. You've lobbied your team onto someone's list. No small feat for a D5 team.

Sorry my username spells out it quite clearly

PWD10== Peewee...District 10

Nonetheless they look quite formidable and are typical of a first poll where most pick the knowns, and the unknowns completely skim under the radar undetected...for a while.

I kind of like that in a strange modern day way. I wish them lots of luck and hope their success continues.

St Cloud & Centennial this weekend - interesting.
Buffalo possibly playing Burnsville.
We may see if D5 has grit.

I think Cloquet needs to be added to that next tier group, Good size and speed, strong returners and good group moving up from squirt A, New coach so may take a few games to find their identity as a team but should be a contender at the end, All Duluth teams are looking pretty even right now. should make for a fun season in Duluth.

Cloquet plays Woodbury on Sat night, Bloomington Jefferson on Sun. Morning, Duluth East on Mon. night.

How about Prior Lake? They beat Burnsville and Minnetonka already.

STMA showed their grit this weekend -
STMA 5 - St Cloud 4
STMA 7 - Centennial 4

D5 PeeWee A's might just surprise a few people this year. Put Crow River on the teams to watch too - Big, fast and a great goalie.

Who is the coach of the STMA "A" PW Team?

Paul Berning - Great guy and a great coach - If STMA is not in the TOP 5 rankings next week, I would be suprised. Anyone who thinks that this is a D5 mirage, better wake up. Cause this team is for real...

Paul Berning
No he is not the coach, he coaches the Squirt A team not the PA team.

If Lakeville South is in the top 20 its a mistake!!!

Maple Grove over Wayzata 3-2, MG looked deeper, Wayzata has two small but very talented players. Wayzata scored off 2 MG blue line miscues. Both looked top 10. MG plays STMA in december, maybe seprerates the top tier from the next group. that said, it sounds like STMA deserves some respect.
