Is it true that TRF the, what I believed, powerhouse got smoked 10 - 4 by blake.. What the heck happened there, it was probly the refs fault, down in the cites you cant expect to get a fair game :P Also what is STA's record now?
*WILD HOCKEY FAN FOREVER*

Actually there were only maybe 6 penaltys. 3 and 3. So thats not why. They maybe just got outworked. The goalie really had a bad night.

Sounds like TRF needed to bring their officials down from the home town> The same ones that gave them the gift win over Totino.

TRF was having an off night, their goalie was doing horrible and they just werent playing good. 9 out of 10 times they wouldve beat blake, this was the lucky 1 time for blake.

Pucks, they lost 10-4! I don't think "9 times out of ten they beat Blake" if they lose like that. Blake simply dominated offensively, and had a ton of easy chances/breakaways. TRF looked decent offensively, but their defense/goaltending was nothing special There didn't appear to be much home-team referring or anything.

Color me unimpressed with TRF.

Don’t use the refs as a scapegoat, TRF obviously came out unprepared and Blake came out to prove something. Besides, it's early in the season, and TRF has plenty of time to get their act together, and they WILL.

Give me a break.

Blake got lucky?
TRF had a bad game?

A 6 goal loss is merely assurance that they're not a #1 team or even a top 5. It certainly wasn't luck on Blake's part.

STA is 1-1-1, why?

TRF, Contender or Pretender

I don't how how good or how bad one team plays, if you're a contender you don't get beat 10-4 by anybody. TRF = Pretender!!!

It doesn't pay to be ranked numero uno. Give the Bears some credit for coming back from a VERY disappointing outing last Tuesday. A couple different wringles in Blakes lineup. Owen Holm, who's still not 100%, played his first game of the season. Although he didn't score, I believe he added some of the spark this team was looking for. Chris Murray also stepped up, big time. Not only scoring 4 goals he did so playing on the blueline.

Yeah, maybe TRF didn't play like a number one, but at this point of the season, it doesn't matter unless that kind of play continues on. Actually TRF played similar to the way Blake played vs RW. Don't blame the goalie entirely on this one! He had plenty of help, or lack thereof, from the rest of team. Sometimes a team needs a little humility, as Blake found out last Tuesday, to refocus and get ready to play the next day. I'm glad I'm not SSP Saturday! In the same vane, Blake better not come out thinking they just have to show up at the arena to beat Crookston!

as a blake fan i will say trf is played with a lot class, no cheap penalties when the game was in running time. im sure they will improve after this game. i wouldnt want to play them on saturday. trf is very good on the power play. blake came out on fire the whole game. some of the younger players are really stepping up for blake. Joshua Birkholz scored a big goal in game (9th grader).Jordan Seivold has improved and is scoring(10 grader). Blake Dressen has scored in the lourdes game i believe, cant get to the stats for that game in startrib
he is a hard worker in the games(10 grader). i also noticed one of the captains chris murray was put on d tonite and he really help out. a great team effort by blake. i even heard the annoucer say that the blake parents put out a big meal after the 2nd period for the trf fans. class act by them. as always falcons30 is the man

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... eyesme2 at: 12/10/05 4:05 am
