That's what it's going to take. Blow up the whole thing and realign. That's the problem.

You have one issue in that you should probably stick to current youth hockey associations. You've listed schools and no schools have youth hockey associations. School hockey can start in 9th grade, usually 10th. As some hockey numbers decline it would be silly to add more youth hockey organizations. Plenty of organizations currently, just need to be realigned.

Is it possible that 10 years from now, there actually could be a private school district, especially at the bantam level? I think there will be even more merging of associations by then. Scary to think 10 years from now, your association may not exist as it does today.

No. A requirement of being a youth hockey association is to offer teams at all levels. Usually boys and girls. There are currently a sufficient number of youth hockey associations.

Maybe I am missing something here....But in this proposed redistricting I see ZERO teams from the northern half of the state? I think redistricting is a topic worth consideration......but they still do play hockey near the Canada border...and beyond

hahahahaha. No, I'm pretty sure I'm a cidiot. I never get further than Walker. Although I have a trip to Warroad in my future. Maybe I'll learn something. How far from Warroad to Ogee's barstool?
