These days there are so many options to train athletes; whether it be Hockey Camps, AAA, Acceleration training, Dryland and many other options.

I am sure there are lots of opinions out there on what kind of training will give you the most bang for your buck in these tight times??

Anyone?

I think the most bang would be a combination. My opinion, would be other sports w/ some hockey mixed in be summer development or AAA. You got to do your homework on either hockey option. If the kid is motivated, they will do some work on their own as well. With other sports mixed in, you lessen the chance of burnout.

I agree. I would just change one word from work to play.

I also agree but would add in the pre-season skate for our association and the captins practice for our HS. Basicly we pay for the ice split between many families, no real overhead or extras to increase cost. Good value and some time set aside for fun.
