USHL TRYOUT

My son who is 14 was invited to tryout for a USHL team and this is very new to us. We know it is highly unlikely he would play for probably another year or two but we are looking for any insight from anybody that knows a little more on the process.

I seem to have problems with responding to PMs, so let me know if you got mine, otherwise here is my response:
My "guess" is that he's been invited to a "futures" camp? Does that sound about right? The teams have been picked and each team is down to a 25 man roster that will be cut to 23 at the end of September. Now the teams will hold "futures" camps to start getting a handle on the talent that is out there.
