Is that the MN monopoly that is 3 and 0 at the 01' level? The 99 team has also been competitive in 3 games? I can't believe that is the MN team. I know the 00' open team is all 01's and 02's but there is no way they could hang at that level. Maybe i'm just ignorant, but that seems like quite a stretch....

It looks like the machine had duece players on the team, according to the rosters online. At the 96 level.

This tournament is one of top AAA events in North America. Teams from MN have/are doing very well. If you know any of players on these teams they deserve a pat on the back for all their efforts.

At the older levels 97,96,95 the Canadian teams that are put together for this event are very good, very big, very skilled and very strong! Its a whole different game/level for the MN players! There are 1-2 teams at each level that are heads and shoulders above the rest.

Because of checking and the physical play at these older levels there are injuries. The rosters of many of the older MN teams have new players on them to fill holes from players not able to make the trip...

97 Machine team is to small

The 97 Machine teams are way to small, The stars from the 97 team from the last 3 years have seen their best days. The new players on the 97 Machine team are NO help at all, and the 97 Deuce players that are playing are the kids of the 97 Deuce coaches, just to keep Bernie's word to the to keep the coaches happy!!!! I fell bad for the full time players that have to go through this mess.

Cut the 97's some slack...the Viper team the Blades lost to is basically the same team they lost to in the brick finals with the addition of the best kid off the Boston Jr Bruins (Jeremy Bracco) the best kid off the LA Selects (Ty Comrie), and 3 kids from Toronto...

The 96 machine may have a couple smaller players, but they also have a couple good sized players and a bunch of average sized players, small size is not an excuse here.

A few of their top players have quit over the past year.

One player left and several were "released"!
