Check out
http://www.howiehanson.com/?page_id=13656 -- northeastern Minnesota's new hockey website, part of the DuluthJournal.com daily. Best high school, college and youth hockey information in the north, written exclusively by experienced hockey writers. The photography is big-league. Best of all, the writing and blogs are candid, not press releases.

I do know that
http://www.minnhock.com writers include
Frank Haataja, a former sporswriter for the Mesabi Daily News, and
Howie Hanson, a 30-plus year hockey writer and columnist who formerly wrote for the Duluth News Tribune and Duluth Budgeteer. What I like about the site is that they tell it like it is, not writing press releases, which is probably why two of the posters on this thread wrote nasty words about the full-time writers. Again, if you want the real scoop on northeastern Minnesota high school boys and girls hockey,
http://www.minnhock.com should be your daily read, during the season and throughout the year.

So, in how many topics are you going to pimp Howie? And calling him a "hockey writer" is comedy of the highest order.
Also, if you
are Howie, learn to write. Learn objectivity. But more importantly, learn to write.

Oh great. Another site for Howie to talk up Denfeld and bash East. PrepHockeyNorth.com > Howie Hanson's bull

After his false report of 3 Russian superstars coming to Denfeld including anonymous conversations with housing familes, how can anyone take anything this guy promotes and treat it with respect. I believe anyone who validates his information discredits themselves. It is to bad because he could have had a positive impact on reporting the great game of hockey instead his favoritism, and negative comments about young athletes make his information irrelevant.
