For the 54 players left who is going to fill the 20 man roster and move on?

Should any kids from White team move on after being dominated by 16's?

I heard from one of the Select 17 staff, only going to be
8 forwards
5 D
1 Goalie

Gardiner will probably move on. It'd be weird to see a Gopher recruit not make it.

USA Hockey might leave Benik behind, but if you assume that the college commitments will move on, that's...

Blue
F - Isaakson
D - Marshall

Red
F - Benik
F - Bjugstad
D - Forbort

White
F - Gardiner

...which leaves four forwards, three defensemen, and a goalie.

why do kids with committments get a free pass. Rumor is that Gardiner had 0 points and only school that even talked to Benik was St. Cloud and he was average this weekend. Shouldn't performance during process count

I think blue should carry a majority, they looked good maybe 1-2 more D from there and 3 forwards

They don't get a free pass, there's usually just a high correlation.

Money and brown nosing helps. Some dads are really good at it.

Anyone know when they are supposed to post the final roster? Seems like it is taking longer this year.

If Forbort makes it out of the 54's I believe Rochester would be his last stop this summer. Given his acceptance to ann arbor, I don't believe he would be eligible for the "Ivan Hinkla" tournament in Europe.
