Just a quick message to Gundy, Ike, and Rendle, hows the recruiting going for next year? Any promising up and comers? That double sheet, all hours availability of ice time, pipeline to Lake Placid, and the 100 piece pepband for every home game except for 1, must be quite a sell to any new visitors looking for Division 1 scholarships? Does it get any better? Where do I sign up??

Are you kidding me?? GRG pales in comparison to the cake eating that goes on at Roseville...I've seen cherry picking for talent and then I've seen the MacLean/Brodt crew at work, unbelievable sales people. Not too mention the sandbagging they do in other sports!

We also offer 6 on 3 powerplay training and a book on how to maneuver around 3 golf courses in three days in northern MN while carrying two cocktails and an assistant coach on your back for a grand slam championship!!
If we could only learn the secret of how to get to the big dance. I keep hearing the path to the tourney goes through GR.

Seriously, I know you guys don't recruit, but I've heard that the boundries for your co-op have shrunk too, (to only reach as far as Aitkin, and then only as far up as Orr, and now only getting as far over as Bagley.) You guys might need to jump down to single A if you don't get any help from the High School League...Its almost embarrasing [-X

Isn't it the Roseville AREA schools??? How do we define AREA....South of Saint Cloud and North of Albert Lea? Would be nice to have that title in the school name...And I'll take two copies of the 6 on 3 manual, i think a couple of coaches up in the north could use some bathroom reading material!!

Geez you'd think having the name AREA strapped to your name would benefit the program, however with Moundsview and Como Park and a few other schools hovering over Roseville borders, we don't get the fringe like you'd think we would. AREA just refers to the majority of the town itself, that we get; not he whole thing.

Now in your case, I know most think that GRG stands for Grand Rapids-Greenway, But we really know it stands for Grand Rapids and Global.

If you cannot provide anything of subtance why post? Thought this would have information related to a fairly successful program. Turns out it is nothing of the sort. Just a couple rubes who cannot figure out how to text each other their meaningless bantor. :x

Good thing every post on here is full of substance... perhaps its time to recognize that this site is designed for people to sit at home, drink some beers and talk about nothingness.

We need more controversey. Brings excitement!!. Keep it up. Who needs a feel good boring statements. Having a few beers really brings out the creativity in me and maybe a little harshness. It is what it is. Honey, get me another Beer im on a roll.

Old timer just thinks he wants controversy; you know, things like how GRG lost out on the sweepstakes of Downey, or How Bellamy gets Goalie of the year, yet gets benched in the finals....who cares about stuff like that? Thats just trivial crap and misfortune. People want real stories!!

Real stories like how Ike won't buy anything for his kids with calcium in it, or things like how Rendle really stepped down because he couldn't take the heat of Gundy scoring more goals than him during shootouts in practice. That my friends is controversy!! Bartender, nother round!!

Actually was searching for a schedule that might include Roseau in it and came across this blog. I now know you boys are just clowning around, so I will just leave you boys be. Keep that titleist in the fairway this summer, it is mighty tough in the rough.

Well I see the pipeline to NDP stardome is in tact again up there. Once again you out number us in quality/star players. So, are you going to handicap our game this year and spot us a couple goals, since we're in your barn again, with your refs, and with your deep talent pool, I think its only fair. I won't mention any names...band guy and dodgeball king...oh yah, and former head coach too

Its great to see that the Crunch are bringing in new players, but when does the list of new recruits for GRG come out? I'm sure the staff has been anxious to see the fruits of their labor

What are we, two days into this young season? I think we should sleep on this and in the morning revisit what happened. Threatening coaches/parents or players is not right. Lessons have been learned and I think everyone wants this rich hockey community to be a positive place where everyone can enjoy the great game of hockey!

Let's do the right thing...it's not too late!

Let us know if the GR youth program recruits 30 new 5-6 year old girls this season? It's THE most important task in the next 30 days. Nothing is even close to being as important. Involve the high school girls as the little ones look up to them.
