The Final is set! It will be Breck (26-3-1) vs Warroad (28-2-0) in the State Championship game for the Class A Boys Hockey Tournament. Who wins?

Warroad. If they can score 4 true goals on that SCC defense I don't think Breck will be able to stop them

Breck will win this game by 3. Russell plays his best in big games. I dont see him giving up more then 3. Brecks defense does a nice job clearing out the front of the net for him. Also after the win against LF i realized that breck has three soild lines, who can get the job done. Theyre speedy and talented forwards are fun to watch.

I love Warroad chances, they played a tough SCC team today and showed how good they can be. If Warroad gets solid play in the nets they are going to win this one. Warroad 4-3

I think it is going to be a great game. Small town Warroad against the metropolitan cooperative Breck. Breck showed a lot of hard work and speed in game vs LF. They also move the puck well. I will say it again tho Warroad moves the puck better than any team in the tournament. Breck may be the faster team. I thought before watching the Breck - LF game that the WAR-SCC game should be the championship game. However, I think Breck - Warroad is going to be a very good matchup.
Heres hoping it is a Classic. But GO WARROAD.

Breck over Warroad 4-2. should be a very physical and fast game. Breck has the better overall team speed, but Warroad should be the more physical team. they will have to try to slow down the Breck forwards. I think the x-factor will be the goal play of Breck's Russell, who has been perhaps the tournaments best goalie to date.

After watching both semi final games today Warroad doesn't stand a chance. SCC looked bad and Warrord didn't look much better.
Breck looked outstanding, I'm not sure what happened to LF they looked
terrible. Warroad SCC and Little Falls look like they are all the same
caliber teams, Breck is a notch or two above the rest.

I didn't mean to sound like I disagree with it, the two best teams
should play for the championship. And it is a bonus that the top northern team will play the top metro candidate. I'm just dissapointed that a true public school program is not playing in the championship, that's all. We HAVE to have Warroad and Breck, and St. Thomas etc... in class A, otherwise it will start to be called the "b" tournement..or something of that nature. Warroad is usually very well coached and very well skilled with plenty of grit. Breck is usually a pretty skilled team as well. I take the Warriors for tradition, grit, and the fact that the entire town will likely be at the game...that should fire them up a bit more.

Breck is by far the best team in the single A tournament. They will win by 3 or 4.

sick shorthanded goal by Breck. These two teams are a lot of fun to watch. I think Breck is clearly the best team in Class A this year.
