The Mavericks (15-15-6) will travel to Madison to play the Badgers (17-15-4) this weekend. These teams played each other just two weekends ago in Mankato. The Mavericks took three out of four from the struggling Badgers. Wisconsin is 1-5 in their last six. Their lone win was last weekend against North Dakota. Minnesota State took three points from St. Cloud State in a home and home series.

Who wins this series, and why?

I'll pick Wisconsin in three.

Wisconsin is not a bad team. They're better than Mankato, and they will prove it at home this weekend.
