The ref drops the puck and he starts to shout. EVERY time one of his team gets checked he howls for a penalty. Every time someone falls it is a trip. Each call against his team is bogus, every call in his favor is greeted with howls of, "it's about time."

Is it any wonder that his son behaves the same way?

Does he even know who he is?

He/she is also the same person that drops the kid off an hour before the game and races to the local watering hole to slam a few before arriving at the rink just in time for the opening face off. Correct?

Is he the guy who also yells "ice!" when an obvious iceing is to be called for his team, and then "thank you" in a condesending manor when called?

If this is the same guy, he is the reason I have been standing on the glass at one end of the rink, as far away from him as possible, for the second half of this season.[/b]

Yes, I bet we all have at least one of him. How about the dad of one of the better players on the team who can't stop ripping into half the players on his son's team while talking up his buddy's kids non stop? And he doesn't care who's listening!?

Get a copy of The Tournament, a Canadian TV show. Than you can get a little relief laughing at this guy.

And when his kid isn't a mite anymore he'll spend his time yelling "Hit'em, Hit'em" and than when his kid gets hit, screaming at the refs for the "Cheap Shot"
