I will be the first one to admit that Hastings had a goal that was unfortunately not called. A turnover in the WBL defensive zone left a Hastings player alone with the puck in the slot and he top shelfed Evan Weiss on a great shot - Evan Weiss didn't leave him much to shoot at. From where I was seated, I clearly saw the puck pass under the meshing on the top of the net as the puck hit the back piping and shot out. Two of the Hastings players raised their sticks and started to celebrate as play continued.

That would have put the game at 2-1 at the end of 1.

Let me add...... I love blind referees.

not so blind afterall, the ref on the goal line actually did blow his whistle, but never signaled the goal, this is why the hastings plaers cheered. The ref barely blew his whistle nd i guess the other refs didnt hear it because the play kept going and i guess the goal line judge was to afraid to stop the play.

I stand corrected. I like deaf referees.

Hastings power play was 0-10 and a couple of those were 5-3. Your not going to win games if you can't score on the power play. When a team of WBL caliber spots you that many power plays you need to put the puck in the net its as simple as that.

You mean to tell me that they were 0-10 and only got 16 shots for the game??? Holy cripe!!!!
