In December in Saint Cloud Times, Tech players quoted as saying they were best n town after tying SCC in the Granite City Classic. Since then lost to Sartell across town and now crushed by Roseau, not looking so good IMO, are the parents gonna try and fire the coach again?

I don't think they ever stopped trying. There are some parents down here that are like bull-dogs, they never let go.

sounds like a rough weekend for tech. Its got to be hard to drive 6 hours up get killed and drive 6 hours back. Doesn't sound like fun.

tech is pathetic....cathedral is by far the best tem in st. cloud, hands down...and yes, cathedral would have beat roseau no problem....

Is there a reason why Roseau and Cathedral don't play this year? I know they've played one another the last few years...

What basis would you think CHS would beat Roseau?

They couldn't beat Little Falls or Tech. That's a pretty bold statement for a team that has really beaten one good team so far. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Besides, if CHS is so good, maybe they should get into AA, where their ranking wouldn't be in the top 15 or 20.

Take it from me. I've seen CHS play and Roseau play. There is no way CHS would definitely win that game. The outcome would be anything but certain. Sartell deserved to win Friday night. They played tough and wanted to win more than Tech. Congrats to Sartell.

roseau has a great program, but after losing to warroad, and alexandria, 2 teams cathedral beat...i think THIS year cathedral would win...any other year...i don't think it would happen....roseau is a great program, but definately down in this rebuilding year....cathedral is at the top of their program currently, and as we all know from the past 2 years, roseau definately is not...this statement is more to rip on TECH, and in no way degrading roseau..down years happen...tech is alwasy having a down year though!

Tech does not seam to get any easer after the two this weekend.
Sartell (#19/A) – Lost 1-30-09
Roseau (#19/AA) – Lost 1-31-09

This will be true test for the team and the coach.
Could loss Four of the next Five games stretch?

Alexandria (#7/A) – 2-3-09 I’ll say loss (birds struggling thought? But at home)
Sauk rapids (NR) – 2-6-09 go with win. Henkemeyer is out,
Roseau (#19/AA) – 2-7-09 Lose again, especially with Nick back.
Little Falls (#1/A) – 2-10-09 Lose, even thought Little Falls only remaining tough team. Falls playing good.
Moorhead (#15/AA) – 2-12-09 lose?
Was the schedule easer in the begging of the year?

One player from the team was quoted saying they were the best in town, etc... Just keep in mind, not all players on the team may have said exactly what he did, which was quite bold.

I'm sorry bud but the transitive property does not work in hockey, well know that. just because a beat b, and b beat c does not mean that will a will beat b. i would not bet against Roseau in a matchup against Cathedral.. no way.

Right, exactly. Besides, again, CHS has played well in a few games this year, but it's hard to know how good they really are given their schedule. Holy Family doesn't exactly provide a good indicator of where your program stands -- a Roseau, even in a down year, would, especially playing them up there.

We'll find out where all the teams stand for the season in the next four to five weeks.
