Convincing win for White Bear Lake to open things up, as they beat Mounds View 4-1. No correct scores, but 7 out of 10 pick up a point.

No, WBL was the dominate team but 3 to 1 in penalty minutes (again) helped to distort the shot differential. This was a big game in the SEC. The victor has a lock on 3rd place. When the Bears score early they are tough to beat.

Northern connection tells me that Grand Rapids-Greenway team has been battling the flu for last 4-5 games on their schedule, so i agree 3-2 game otherwise I would have opted for a 5-1 Grand Rapids win over Breck!

Didn't work for me in the first game this week, that's for sure. Then again going with the crowd hasn't worked all that great either! Lot's of us missed Cloquet's two wins and Bemidji's win over GR/G.

I'm about ready to start flipping a coin on some of these games....

I would like to claim expert status...but admit to not having a clue and getting damn lucky.

Breck edges Grand Rapids/Greenway in yet another 3-2 game tonight. Breck's leading scorer, Milaca McMillen - just a 9th grader - scored the game winner and her second goal of the game, in the final two minutes for the victory.
