I think Rogers will win it.

I don't see Rogers as a participant so might be hard for them to win it.

looks like a great tourney. I wonder if Elliott is making the run to see his Jacks play?

I like the way the schedule is set up to have a total crossover and the City teams aren't going North to play each other there when they've already played here twice. Nice job on the schedule. (no offense to Duluth, who would never ever have City teams drive up to play each other there, like Woodbury and Stillwater for instance, who are separated by a highway, a grass business, a kennel and a Wal Mart)

A little surprised in the WBL and Roseau score must of been a good close game!!!

two of the wbl parents were kicked out of the arena. the whole group was insane. im suprised they had problems with the refs ive been to the cities and its not pretty. both teams were cheap but only heard complaints from wbl. the shots were 23-21 wbl. close game but played very sloppy.

Looks like the hometown refs couldn't help the Rams out enough in this game!

I like the format of this tournament as well, with the North playing the South in pool play. All will be good, unless four teams in the South bracket go 2-0. Only two of te four will get to move on and play in the Championship bracket. Then you will start to hear the griping from the parents/coaches.

Don't all teams get to play two games on Sunday?

No, it would be worth it, but I have a state hockey meeting in ST Cloud on recruitment.....
And I would have to stay in Warroad.... eke...

Gotta give Roseau some credit. Looks like they have given two solid teams from the South epic battles in tight losses.
Still doesn't put them in the top 20....you gotta win your way there as close doesn't count.
Interesting development. Though the 'Conditioningsucks Powerrankings" has Eden Prairie at #22, and Grand Rapids in the 23-31 blob, the Rapidians took down Eden Prairie. I believe EP may slip from 22 into my Tier 5 now as they have been hopeless since about December 10th. Don't know at this time if anyone will replace them.

Once the Championship brackets are established each team plays a game on Sat afternoon then one more on Sunday.......before the long drive home!!
