Last big game for Blaine before they take on big bad Centennial.
I feel this will be a low scoring game with a lot of hockey played at neutral ice.
Blaine 2
Duluth East 1

Well if East plays like they did against Breck I'll tell you this game is an easy choice but I'm guessing they step it up a little bit. Anyway I'm going:
East 4
Blaine 3

This is probably East's toughest team to play this year if they can stay out of the box I think east will win it will probably be a one goal game...
East-3

I think BLAINE will win this one by 3. Blaine's Defense are so sick. Brockway is going to the show after he gets a D-1 scolly, so is Tufte and Bjugstad. They have no weaknesses. I hope the Hounds don't have any super star forwards though, because Blaine's first line struggled against Edina's amazing first line.
BLAINE: 3

Did you watch Blaines "sick" defense against Edina...little too much for the boys,or maybe they were just that...sick. Brockway..."the show"..."D1"...come on now,he`s an average defenseman, average skills, average speed. Bjugstad D1...already in the mix...Tufte D1...if he would ever skate to his true potential he would have already been on his way to D1,sorry it would take a miracle for this to happen now.
One other thing petern3,Bjugstads dad never skated in the NHL,his uncle Scott did. Just happened to glance at some of your other posts from a while back.

In my opinion Tufte could conceiveably become a D1 hockey player on his size alone. Yeah he needs to skate faster, but i see some potential. Plus he's only a junior hes still got time.
Brockway is very talented, but hes a senior and I dont think a D1 scholarship is coming his way.
Bjugstad i could see skating in the NHL one day.. he continues to impress me with his presence out on the ice. Lucia will push Bjugstad to the hockey player that he has the potential to be.

You say they don't have any weaknesses but then point out one...
I got one for ya:
D1 commit Max Tardy. Leading scorer in the Elite League.

Does anyone know if Derek Forbort will be back in time from the U.S. U-17 team to play in the Blaine game?

There last game was today at noon so I'm guessing he would be able to make it back in time.

This is a great game for East to redeem themselves from their bad loss

The Hounds wont play like the did against Breck. I think that sometimes you play at the level of your competition and it catches up to you. Blaine is a top shelf squad and will force East to play the best hockey they have played since Centennial. I gotta say Hounds 3-2, with an awesome matchup between Blaine's offense and Duluth's Defense. This will show who is for real (not to say both teams havent already proved that)

Yeah, it's pretty hit-or-miss. It worked well for the Schwan Cup, but I've been staring at the Blaine lineup for about 5 minutes now.
