Looks like a pretty high powered tournament this year East obviously has to be the favorite right now but does anybody have a different opinion on this?

The field looks very strong.....not as good as the E.P Tournament but very close. The one CO team is an All Star team and could be a force. All the teams are very talented and it should be some great fast paced hockey.

Wow either way that is a stacked pool East, Woodbury, Mpls/Park, and Littleton should be alot of fun to watch.

i'm sure Edina will have the easiest bracket like always, they should at least make it look a little more balanced

I dunno. What do you propose. These are the pools:
Edina (#10 in recent mnhockeyrankings.com), Eagan (#7), Rogers (#5), Marquette
Woodbury (#18), Minneapolis (#24), Duluth (#2), Littleton
Roseau (#27), Chaska (#20), Stillwater (#28), Arvada
Anxious to hear your response.

O-TownGuy,
Are the CO teams comparable to the Minnesota A bantam teams.... or are the All Star teams?
The brackets look O.K. I don't think Edina has a big advantage....other than it's their home rink.

Littelton will be good two years ago they came to the Bemidiji International Pee Wee tournament and made it all the ways to the finals and lost i believe dont quote me on that but i am pretty sure.

I believe these are Tier II (AA) teams coming from the other states. I don't see any of them winning the tournament, but Arvada might be able to take their pool. (Just guessing. They could go 0-3.)
So you don't think Edina has a big advantage? They sure look to be at a disadvantage versus forming a pool with them and some of the lesser teams, as they were accused of doing. Three teams in the field are ahead of them in the mnhockey ranking and they pool with two of them. Looks pretty stout to me.

The Littleton Bantam's are a league team playing Tier II this year. Littleton traditionally has strong teams. This year's team is a good young "AA" team. Ten 95's and Nine 94's. The team is from the Denver Metro Area, Littleton is a suburb.

They announced the shots 26-24 Woodbury but yes very generous to Mpls they did not come to play at all and Woodbury made them pay.

My counter had them at 29-14 Woodbury. I got the other shot info second hand so I stand corrected. Mpls/Park beat Woodbury 4-1 in a VFW game so I don't think they gave them any credit. Woodbury can play with the best but have some consistency issues.

I agree with that and have to say Mpls has the same issues
East-6
Mpls/Park-1
alot closer than the score indicated Mpls needs to put full games together they dominated for about 7 min and were up 1-0 then let down and east scored 3 in a minute and a half after that it was pretty even untill the middle of the 3rd east scored 2 goals in 2 min to put it out of reach. East was by far the best team in the state by my account but need to stay out of the box.
East-9
Littleton-0

East-9
Littleton-0
Woodbury 3
Littleton 1
Shots 32-17 Woodbury
Littleton goal in the last minute on a power play with their goalie pulled(6 on 4), faceoff in front of the Woodbury net. Woodbury scored again on an empty netter.
