Blaine Cougers are done for. Or whatever their name is. Their Christmas is coming to a screeching halt this year.

Despite the lack of coaching, I will go with Blaine in this one. I like Edina, but Bengals have more grit(NWSC) and will throw the body around too much for the Hornets.

Well first of all that would be the Blaine
Bengals. Secondly I don't think winning or losing a hockey game will or should affect anyone's Christmas Spirit!!
I'm picking Blaine to win this one in what should be a very good game between two evenly matched teams.

Two evenly matched teams, what world are you living in, BLAZE?
Go back to Burnsville.

What was so bad with saying Edina and Blaine are evenly matched teams? Blaine is 9-0, they beat Roseau, went to ND and won all 3 games, and beat Elk River by the same 3-1 score that Edina beat them by. I think it'll be a close game.

I would have to say that the BENGALS ... "cougers" ... really don't have a chance here. I mean they definitely are not a team to overlook whether your Edina or not, but the Hornets pack a walloping punch and I really don't think that Danny Harper and Nick Bjugstad will be able to handle the long list of names from Edina.

Blaine's got some big boys and could hammer on Edina and Edina, although they like physical games, seems to hate when their opponents are just as willing to hit and hit hard.
I say Edina's skill will still win, but I really think Blaine has a good chance to win.
Edina 3
Blaine 2

Although Burnsville is a great city I not from there. Some of us can obviously be more objective and see that there are other good teams out their besides your beloved Hornets. I'm not an Edina hater... I just happen to believe that Blaine has a good a chance to win.

which edina players do you think have a shot at the nhl?

The one not playing - Budish - future NHL!!
Edina 3
Blaine 1
Edina goalie is strong and they have too many talented forwards. All lines can score. Blaine has some talent (Mr. Bjugstad) and will give them a good game. Just think the Bengals will have to be more than just physical in order to beat the Hornets.

This will be a great game to watch. I sense that some people are starting to doubt Edina a little more now but must i remind you that they have only lost to one team and that was the #1 team in Hill-Murray. With that said, Blaine hasn't lost a game yet so just forget about the records and listen to this. Edina has the talent and the style. Blaine has the grit to grind out the tough ones.
I love the upsets:
Blaine 4
Edina 3

Although Blaine is playing well this year, they haven't had a game against a team of Edina's caliber. This will be the first true test for them.
Edina 3, Blaine 2

The doubts are because they didn't play all that well in the Holiday Classic and two of those teams were not very strong.

After watching Blaine play this year they have very tough players. I think they have the best team of defense in the state, and I really saw no weakness to their team what so ever.
BLAINE: 4
EDINA: 2

Look for the guy in the pink fuzzy hat and come say hi
But on a serious note I am, as always, excited to see the Bengals with their tails between their legs. Sorry Harper, 4-1 Green Guys.

Blaine can win if they play as physical as possible from the drop of the first puck until the end of the third period. If they don't, Edina will prevail.
