The next three days Jefferson plays GF Red River, GF Central, and Grafton/PR. How will they do? How good are these three teams in ND?

Grafton is number 1
Central is 4
Red River is 5

You obviously have no idea of rankings. GPR just got beat by south 7-3 so in no way are they number 1. Who is ur 2 and 3 then?

GPR is 2
GFC is 3
GFRR is 4 id say and the rest of north dakota too.

Blaine plays the same three teams over the same weekend.

Fargo South also beat Moorhead this year, so the Grafton team may be OK.

How did South beat Moorhead when the game ended 2-2?

Jefferson can "name" the score in all 3 games. I would be surprised if they allow more then 1 goal.

2-1 end of 2nd.. heavy hitting game... jags have mroe shots on goal... i think RR wants to beat them with the body then the puck.

I am a little disapointed that the Jags don't get to play Blaine or Roseau up there cuz I don't know much about the North Dakota teams but im guessing even if the Jags win all three teams vs the ND teams i don't really know if that makes a statement at all besides the fact that they can beat ND teams.

My bad I looked up rankings and thought they were current but obviously they are not.

Fargo South considers that a victory. Whenever they can tie the Spuds, they celebrate like they just won the ND State Tournament !

I'd like to see them play against Fargo South. South is on a streak early on this season, and right now don't seem to be getting slowed by much of anyone.

I'm sure they celebrate just as hard as Moorhead when they actually get to their state's tournament. Too bad they don't get very far in it. Since South led that game 2-0, I doubt they are very happy with tying, about as much as Moorhead having that tie as a blemish on their so far perfect record.

Either way, GPR has a chance to beat Roseau tonight, but otherwise it'd be an upset if Minnesota teams didn't finish this tournament undefeated. BJ will go 3-0.

Jefferson SHOULD take the Tourney!!!! Their only challenge will be Roseau. I hope Powder Blue makes a statement!

I would be more worried about the ND teams then Roseau. Why did Lee have to leave??????

Then again both of Fargo's goals were garbage power play goals and their coach had a quote in the paper saying they were happy with the result.

Not sure what you mean when you say your sure they celebrate just as hard as moorhead when they get to their state tournament. Is it an insult becuase half of their state makes it to the state tournament so it is really no comparison.

As far as I know, garbage goals count just as much as pretty goals do. I don't remember the article exactly, but I don't think a coach should ever be satisfied if a team drops a 2-0 lead and ends up tying. He obviously doesn't feel like I would if I were playing.

Still don't get what you're trying to get at with the State tourney thing. I was just poking fun of Moorhead for always dropping it in sections. I don't think they could possibly do that this year though, Roseau has bit the dust pretty hard lately.

Also, Jefferson basically rolled through the tournament. They weren't even challenged by a team as far as I could tell. Quality club they've got this year.

jefferson outscored opponents 18-1 with only a fluke goal on a lucky wiffed shot that went back door to a red river player.

the rams have fallen hard as grafton rolled over them in the tournament jefferson beat them 6-0 the next day.

Good to see that the Jags won all three of their games up in ND but three wins doesn't tell me anything near what a good showing in let's say the Schwans cup would show....
