with Moorhead and Roseau with fresh faces, and comming down to reality, is there room for a team like Brainerd, Buffalo, or Tech to make a run at the section finals?

It sure in the heck won't be Brainerd or Tech
Buffalo might have a shot with an upset along the way

I would say probably not Brainerd. Lost alot of their team and are young. Should be going strong by end of the year but doubt it will be enough.
Tech is a young team as well without much offense. Their best plyers are playing defense and dont have alot of scoring talent up front.
I would say Buffalo maybe with Tech not far behind. But I think Roseau and Moorehead will have 1 and 2 locked with the others fighting for 3.
8aa is looking pretty weak this year as compared to years past.

Moorhead has played fairly well so far this year and Roseau will always be there. I'm not so sure that many other teams in this section will make a run at it but it's early...

the way tech is talking they already won the state tourny. i like moorhead to take this down but buffalo will give them a run for there money and of course roseau will make things interesting

Tech is talking like they won the state tourney? Where did you get this? I have been around a lot of Tech people and few if any talked about making it to the state tourney let alone winning it. They have some talented young kids but no one is expecting them to come on their first year. It usually takes a year to figure out playing at the high school leve, especially against the really good teams.

Anybody that has seen Tech play knows they are are long shot for the tourney. I would like to see a couple central mn teams go (and we will see about chs) Section 8aa isnt strong this year so they could make a run but it looks like they have alot of work to do. Their pp and pk was brutal vs. elk river. I see they beat Apollo but who doesn't beat them?

Moorhead is not a top five team in the state, yet they are far and away the best team in the section. This section is really down this year.

Moorhead has to be the favorites, followed by Buffalo. Roseau success usually goes in four year cycles; four years of dominance than four years of mediocre play. Brainerd is down this year; no dominating line no depth at D.

From what I saw of Buffalo last year I wasn't very impressed. And I know last year doesn't mean anything now, but what do you guys see in them this year?
