Are the second Bantams born in 93 not eligible for the Advanced 15, even though they are 15? Are they eligible for the advanced 16?

93's are not eligible for advanced 15 this year. They are eligible for 16 though. It is the year you turn 15.

Because the USA NDTP uses USA Hockey birth years, the development camps are by that, birth year, not by Minnesota hockey age classification.

Then do they have to get a recommendation by their Bantam A coach?

At 16 (93s this spring) selection changes from Youth Hockey Districts to High School Sections. Most named to the 16 teams will be 93s with birthdates before July 1 who are already on High School Varsity and JV teams. In some sections they may add a few that are still Bantams as there are some good ones. The high school coaches would have to know of them though.

Do bantams going to private schools have to get a high school coach recommendation, or are there other ways to get an invite to the Advanced 16's?(i.e. bantam coach, etc.?)
