Are you kidding me. Edina, hands down. Woodbury is growing and should be a major players as their numbers grow, but not right now.

This will be a better game than people think, but I'll still go with Edina, 3-2.

WHAT???? Growing??? I think they have arrived. They have been to State 3 years in a row, They should be back this season and have a great chance of winning it all next as the team is 90% Jrs now.

I will say Edina 3 - Ticks 2....see how Hornets will do against the Hill JV team. hahahaha

Actually it's 2 years in a row, but who's counting. This will be a tougher game than anyone is giving it credit for. I'll say Wood 2-Cakeeaters 1

It'll be a good game this will be the first test for the royals and saying they're playing Edina it'll be a heck of a first test. I'll go with the royals pulling off the upset

Woodbury: 3

Edina: 2

It would be better to watch this game on-line tonight compared to what they are going to show (W.B.L. at Forest Lake).

FINAL SCORE:
Edina-5
Woodbury-2

Complete domination by the Hornets. They came out strong and never looked back. It seemed as though Woodbury was a man down the whole game. The better team clearly won, especially considering Woodbury's goals both came in the last 2 minutes of the game.

One could sneak by by saying hornets won 5-0. Hornets were hungry after their loss on Saturday. It will be hard for anyone to beat them if they play like this [consistently] throughout the season. They also were missing three players to injury, one being Taft, a very good player on the team.

If Edina plays like they did tonight for every game the rest of the year, they will not lose again and will take home the state title. I can't even imagine what they would be like with Budish and Taft out there.

I would agree, for the most part, with all of the above. Clearly, Edina came to play last night and they controlled most of the game. There were some pretty blatant "homer" ref calls that went against Woodbury and some that should have been called on Edina but weren't. But this is Edina. isn't it?? However, Woodbury could never capitalize on the power play opportunities they did have. It is my belief that if these two meet again, it should be a different game. The Royals should not be too upset with their performance. Shots were almost even and they played short a lot. Good game Royals!!!

Wow...Edina looked really good. They are super fast and had crisp passing...I can't imagine how good Hill is, after seeing the Hornets.

I thought Woodbury's goalie was pretty solid, but other than that, Pittman looked like a sluggish old man out there, and wasn't impressed with Gaede.

Maybe I'll have to go to a game where they play a more equal team and I would probably be impressed by their play. Edina is just too good.

I didn't think it was possible to have "homer refs" at an Edina home game. Remember, If you're outside the bubble you're probably not a homer. Even if you're inside the bubble doesn't mean you're a "Homer"

Anyone see that when Delaney came over and skated in front of his fans and saluted them, way after his goal. It brought them to a score of 1-5.

I hope Bolin makes him skate for that!

Yeah that never happened I was one of those fans. He cam over and hit the button out of respect for the Royals fans, but by the look on his face he clearly did not want to do it.

This game showed Woodbury where they need to be at the end of the season if they want to compete for a chance to make State

The shots were not almost even, Edina was up almost 2 to 1 in shots and I thought penalties were pretty even and way too tightly called.
