Baker to Holy Cross

Brendan Baker, a senior defenseman from Edina has committed to play college hockey at Holy Cross. Right now, it sounds like he will play there next year.

Congratulations to him. He is one of the best defensive players in the state, despite his size. Sounds like he is going to get a great education too. Best of luck to him!

The kid is talented and has been somewhat underrated. Very good school and nice pick up for Holy Cross. Congrats to Baker.

Congrats to Mr. Baker, who has done nothing but impress me every time I have seen Edina over the past few years.
Holy Cross is an old rival of Georgetown's, though the two have gone their separate ways in recent years. Sadly, there's only club hockey here, but we more than make up for that with basketball.
