I know that they played last night and score was 3-1 roseau with an empy netter. Was wonder how the teams looked or any other thoughts on the game.

Thought both teams looked good, both goal tenders looked good also, one thing that I noticed is the defense for Roseau played well. Everyone is worried about the Roseau because of Ness leaving but I think they will be just fine. Koenig Heldund Mattson and Weston looked the best on d Young guys will get there. Looked like they moved a foward back on the point in Hedlund. Landman look good as always. The first line really controlled the play when they where out on the ice, maybe should of had a couple more goals. Looks Like Warroad will hav their hands full with the Prowlers this season.

Typical opener. Good pace, both teams applied good pressure at different times, both got good goaltending, good penalty kill and/or weak power play which is normal early. Nice win for Roseau while they wait for Nick Oliver to heal from broken collarbone. Soph Omdahl filled in nicely. TRF probably dissapointed with loss but fine with effort and competitiveness. Young defense better with a year of experience. Best players as expected were Landman - Ros , Dillon - TRF.

The second line of George Knochemus and Lommen controlled the play also and scored the first goal. These three are very fast and make for a very solid second line.
