I doubt one of them could have made the Edina team last year, so don't get too excited.

I saw those guys play and I'm pretty sure that 3 of them could play Edina Hornet Squirt A hockey this season.

rbk that is a great reply, keep up with those type of responses and you may make the "YHF Hall of Fame"
Can the moderators just generate that response automatically so posters don't have to sound so stupid? I mean how many times has a "i am guessing those three kids are your son and his two friends" post have to be used?

the players he was referring to are probably numbers 8,9. and 15 from last year. and I'm only 18 so if I had a son who is old enough to play squirt hockey I'd be in some trouble.

Why do you want to know who top 97 players are?
Don't Hamline have any partys for you to try to get in. I WANT YOU TO ENJOY YOUR COLLEGE YEARS. Stop worrying about how good some 11 year old kid is. Its starting to scare me.

It depends on what a Association you plan on coaching, you might need to drink a lot of ALCOHOL.

All the good 1997 kids are under exclusive contracts with various orgainizations. On occasion, the kid does not develop at a sufficient rate after 150 hours of summer hockey, so they are given their unrestricted release. These "throw aways" as some refer to them probably need a break from the high expectations of their parents, so you may need to wait a year for them to regain their parents passion. They already have been carted off to the second tier triple A teams tryouts, taken spots from those less fortunate. These parents of the previous 2nd tier teams then go whining to the local hockey forum to air their grievences to the hockey forum village. There is always the showcase AAA teams, but what parent would ever show their face at an open AAA tourney when you were once an "invite" player. So Mr. Bash, the best 1997s were scouted years ago and are locked into their respective organizations. The only ones available are the has beens and never weres. Yes, you say they are only eleven, but this is a tough world and we need to teach them lifes lessons early. Best of luck on your Journey. I hear the best 1997 on the Blades was grounded by his coach and may be available if the sentence is not commuted to no sponge bob for a week.

I would change that "most" statement to "some". Take a look around the state and not just in the metro. There are a lot of really good 97 players who do not feel the need to worship at the alter of Bernie or the Blades.
